"Enfolded Light I-III" is the result of experimentation with stained glass and porcelain tile cut and stacked on a mirrored surface, which reflects light through the glass and back to the viewer.
The piece is lovely viewed whole at a distance with the light playing off the varied surfaces, while the fractured intricacy of the components invite the viewer to move closer, to explore the different colors, textures and heights of the individual pieces, to feel the harmony of their flow with our eyes.
This triptych is 3 pieces hung 1.5 inches apart.
